Korean Smartphone maker Samsung has announced a new phone series that they will be rolling out later this year. This series is targeted at the mid range and budget smartphone market.
The New M series, is Samsung’s attempt at grabbing a piece of the mid range and budget phone pie that has been dominated by Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Redmi. The M which unsurprisingly stands for Millennial will be released in 3 variants. The M10, M20 and M30 and they will be selling from about $140 for the M10 going upwards. For such a price point you might be tempted to think that the phone might not have so much in the way of specs but you would be wrong, because this is what you can expect with the M Series phones that Samsung has so far made public.
Infinity V display
Infinity display means that the screen of the phone will be pushed as far to the edges as possible. Giving you a full screen with small bezels. The ‘V’ means that the screen will have a V shaped notch at the top.
The largest Samsung Battery ever
The M10 will have a 3,500 mAh battery which should deliver a good battery life, however, its big brothers the M20 and the M30 will have a 5,000mAh battery which is by far the largest battery that Samsung has ever put in a phone. (Hoping it won’t explode)

Triple camera setup
Since this series of phone is targeted at the Millennials, it is only logical to have a good camera and buyers can expect to find a triple camera setup but only in the M30. Much like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The other variations of the series are expected to have the 2 camera setup which has now become a camera phone staple.
The M Series will be launched and made available only in India first and will subsequently get to other markets around the world.
